One-Way Tickets

Dear readers,

This is a brief update to let you know that two important milestones were met this week in our preparations for going abroad:

1)  On Wednesday, I took Part 1 of the Nurse & Midwife Council's required Test of Competence.  It was a computerized test similar to the NCLEX.  As of Thursday morning, I was informed that I passed the exam!  The second part of the test will be an oral competence exam that I will take at a university north of London after we move.

2)  This morning, Andrew and I purchased our one-way plane tickets to the UK!  Our moving date is officially set: we fly out of Grand Rapids on Monday, January 4, 2016.  We'll arrive into Manchester, UK on the morning of the 5th.
