Celebrating Three Years

Today Andrew and I celebrate our third anniversary!  Our third year of marriage was filled with many incredible adventures, many of which you may recall reading about on our blog.  We invite you to reminisce with us, on some of the adventures we've had this past year:

We spent our anniversary weekend last year in Mackinaw:

Last August, we witnessed Andrew's sister, Kim, wedded to Garry:

While apart (Andrew was already in the UK), I mowed over a hornets nest and had a tree fall on our shed:

We reunited in Glasgow following four weeks apart.  We were there the week following the Scottish referendum:

We lived for a few months in Carlisle, England:

We celebrated Guy Fawkes Day:

We spent many weekends exploring the UK by train, ferry, bus, car, and underground railway.

In Wales, we explored Snowdonia National Park, had our photo taken by a lady who'd never before used a camera, and saw a ram fight:

We visited York and Whitby:

We visited Scottish relatives in Edinburgh,

Culbokie,

and the Isle of Skye:

We spent a weekend enjoying the beauty of the Isle of Iona.  We took a boat out to Staffa, and along the ride we saw whales, dolphins, and seals:

In London, we attended a showing of "Wicked," went to some Christmas markets, and saw the London Tower decorated with poppies for Remembrance Day:

We spent nights in the Reykjavik and Abu Dhabi airports:

In Thailand, we spent time with Greg & Mary:

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Bangkok:

We rode an elephant and a motorbike:

We had lunch in a treehouse:

We each ate 1 (and only 1) fried bug:

We "Cooked with Poo:"

Back home, we spend Christmas with family:

We explored the ice caves of Lake Michigan:

We became Aunt and Uncle to Lily Skye:

This third year of marriage has been a grand adventure, and year four promises to hold adventures of its own.  We invite you to continue to follow our journey as we move to England in our next year of marriage!
