Andrew and I have continued to enjoy our time in Bangkok. Here are a few things we've been up to in the past couple of days:
Greg (& Mary) took us to Fatty's Diner, which is Greg's favorite Wisconsin Dive Bar. G&M frequent Fatty's, especially when craving foods from home:
Greg took us biking in the Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park. This park is located across the river, and we had the pleasure of taking a long boat (the type of boat is a "long boat" - it was not a long ride...just from one side of the river to the other). The park, and its surrounding area make you feel like you're not in Bangkok - it's very pretty and green.
After biking, Greg treated us to lunch at The Bangkok Tree House, which is a restaurant situated among the trees and inaccessible by car. It was a lovely atmosphere and a fun restaurant.
Andrew and I visited The Grand Palace:
Andrew and I also visited Wat Pho - a large temple and home to the biggest reclining Bhudda in Thailand.
